It's "Official," "The Dark Knight" Most Anticipated Movie of the Summer

Well ladies and gentleman it's as official as vote counting in Florida. Although for some rather obvious reason it's definitely more believable to me and probably you out there as well.

Billed as the most highly anticipated film of the summer, "The Dark Knight" finally has some substantially sturdy legs to stand on according to poll results released from CraveOnline.com and reported in an article from PRNewswire.

CraveOnline.com, a lifestyle site for men featuring video, movies, TV, music, sports, games, cars, humor and more, announced today the results of their national "2008 Most Anticipated Summer Movies."

Polling Crave's owned and operated entertainment sites such as ComingSoon.net and SuperHeroHype.com , with over 36 million visitors a month, young men ages 18 - 34 voted on the most anticipated film of the summer.

The question: "Which summer film of 2008 are you most anticipating?," the Top 3 films were:

1. The Dark Knight 79.7% - 16715
2. The Incredible Hulk 10.1% - 2112
3. Hellboy II: The Golden Army 2.3% - 484

Official 'Dark Knight' Site Launches

The official website for quite possibly this summer's most anticipated film "The Dark Knight," has finally been launched.

Although the site has actually been up on the "interweb" for some time the webpage got some changes Wednesday.

With it's opening flash animation segment and the addition of the latest trailer a couple of weeks back, the site was looking pretty good. However, it lacked content.

"The Dark Knight" stepped it up in that department with a photo gallery (6 pictures), video (3 trailers) and downloads (instant message buddy icons, wallpapers, posters and a screensaver).

Picture of Two-Face?

This picture hit the net recently.

Some say it's a photo of Aaron Eckhart as Two-Face in "The Dark Knight," some say it's concept art for the film and others say it's a photo shop job on a picture of Eckhart from "The Black Dahlia." Wherever it's from it's awesome. Plus, there's been reports of Warner Bros. taking the picture down from a number of website. Hmmm. . .
